Facebook is asking, "What have you been up to?" ..writing and networking.

Writing excerpt: Cooperative Collaboration via Technology in Community and Economic Development - Ross (2011) discussed how a revolution (aka paradigm shift) of ordinary people is not only possible, but is happening in pockets throughout today’s world without appointed leaders. “Knowledge moments happens as individuals move through their lives, occurring at the intersection of people, places, processes and purpose” (Bennet & Bennet, 2007. p. 63). This knowledge movement incorporates four ideas: 1) Having an increasingly interconnected system; 2) Action is what convinces, not words; 3) Open engagement and discussion of information; and 4) Power to decide lies within individuals not organizations (Ross, 2011). Moreover, as Wren (1995) noted “Leadership in its full compass is neither a position or title nor the actions of an identifiable “leader”. It is instead an interactive process in which leaders and followers engage in mutual interaction in a complex environment…” (p. x-xi).

Networking: Share with others so that YOU can CREATE an Appalachia that entails cooperative collaborations via technology.
