Sunday! Great learning activity to get your “script to screen”

We’d love to introduce you to our “Script to Screen” workshop guide Brian Hartman!

Brian is a Pittsburgh native film producer with a vast resume of production credits, including his start as a location scout for Silence of the Lambs! He’s been a producer for 15 feature films, television pilots, music videos, documentaries, and acted as a consultant for many projects as well.

Yesterday we placed a camera and a wireless microphone in the hands of students at Hurricane High School to use for their media and film projects. The equipment was purchased through a grant from The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation. Hurricane High is our first partner school and we can't wait to see what they create!

Join us on Wednesday, April 17th at Foundry Theater to see the SPRING 2024 Capstone films from Marshall University students! Students spend two semesters in development, pre-production, production, and post-production to make their final student films for Filmmaking at Marshall University! Thank you to Foundry Theater, Marshall University School of Art & Design, and Demi Napier(for the awesome poster design)!
