MEET HCF ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBER, NANCY SCHILTZ.
Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Nancy has always embodied an adventurous and service driven spirit. After completing her nursing education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, she began her career as a travel nurse. Her first assignment took her to Hawaii for six months, followed by placements in San Antonio, Cincinnati, and ultimately Denver—where she met her husband, Terry, and chose to settle. Building on her clinical background, Nancy later transitioned into sales and marketing, expanding her professional reach while continuing to work closely with people and communities.

In 2003, Nancy and Terry moved to Huron and became partners in AgSense. Together, they helped grow the company while raising their two children, Walker and Brooke. After the sale of the business in 2020, Nancy remained actively engaged in new ventures, including renovating and flipping homes alongside her son.

Nancy is deeply committed to community involvement and contributes her time to several local organizations and initiatives. Her work with the Huron Community Foundation reflects her belief in the importance of a strong, local philanthropic network. She values the Foundation’s role as a conduit for supporting a wide range of nonprofit groups that strengthen and enrich the Huron community.
