If you've been to a HHS POPS Concert, you've probably seen Promethian Hoard rock the stage before and they are back!

This group of current and former HHS teachers will be performing "Ain't It Fun" by Paramore at this year's show. The band features Ben Halbkat, Michael Scott, Adam Heagley, Mike Radke, James Steukrath, and Mitch Gaffer.

Their favorite part of performing? Seeing the students' reactions and being part of the fun that makes Pops Concert such a great tradition.

As for the name? It is inspired by the Promethean Boards in each of the HHS classrooms.

Come watch them perform September 26th at 2 p.m.!

GET TO KNOW ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBER NEW NEW WIN --
My name is New New Win. I am originally from Thailand and have called Huron home since moving to the United States at the age of 12. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Northern State University. I currently serve as a Supervisor at the Center for Independence, where I lead staff and support individuals with disabilities. I also serve as President of the Huron Karen Association, helping organize cultural events and community initiatives that bring people together.
I am grateful for the opportunities Huron has given me and enjoy giving back through service and leadership. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

MEET HCF COUNCIL MEMBER-HOUSTYN HEINZ-

Houstyn Heinz, CPA, CFP®, is a partner at ELO CPAs & Advisors, where he works with individuals, families, and business owners on tax planning, business succession strategies, and long-term financial decision-making. He and his wife, Lexi, are raising their two young children in Huron and are proud to call the community home.
Born and raised in Huron, Houstyn has deep roots in the community. After beginning his professional career elsewhere, he and Lexi returned to Huron in 2019 with a desire to build their lives and raise their family in the hometown that helped shape them. He considers it a true privilege to have the opportunity to give back to the community that invested so much in his upbringing and to play a small role in helping Huron continue to grow and thrive.
Houstyn is honored to serve on the Huron Community Foundation Board and considers it a privilege to be part of an organization that gives so much back to the community. He values the Foundation’s commitment to supporting local initiatives, enhancing quality of life, and creating opportunities that will benefit Huron for generations to come.
