All for Evelyn

All for Evelyn Supporting PICU families and raising pediatric sepsis awareness in honor of Evelyn Bauer's smile and spirit She had to be doing something and we had to keep up.

Always a smile on her face, Evelyn was on the go from morning to night. Evelyn was a kindergarten student in Huron and absolutely loved going to school, often doing schoolwork even when she did not have to. If you see any picture of Evelyn, she always had a big smile on her face. It didn’t matter if she was in the background or the reason for the picture. She just was happy at all times. Evelyn ch

erished her time with family, especially her older brother and sister. Evelyn's constant motion and infectious happiness are what most people remember about her. The sudden and unexpected passing of Evelyn on January 8, 2023, left us utterly devastated. Coping with the loss is a day-by-day struggle, reshaping our perspective on life. Once overwhelming issues now seem trivial. Discussing Evelyn has become a therapeutic outlet, a way to share the brightness of her spirit when others inquire. The All for Evelyn Foundation was created by our family to give back to other families who find themselves in a similar situation. The foundation is dedicated to aiding families with children in the pediatric intensive care unit and raising awareness about pediatric sepsis in honor of Evelyn Bauer's vibrant smile and spirit.

Today we honor the strength, love, and resilience of mothers everywhere 💜

On this Mother’s Day, we’re especially thinking of the moms spending the day at their child’s bedside—showing up with unwavering love in the hardest moments. You are seen, and you are not alone.

We also hold close the mothers who carry their children in their hearts. Your love continues to shine.

Happy Mother’s Day 💜🦋

We are beyond grateful to the Sandusky Register for sharing this beautiful story about the Woodlands Elementary “Light Up the Night” Glow Dance in Huron.

What started as a small idea blossomed into something truly magical — a gym filled with laughter, glowing lights, and so much fun. 💫

From the amazing organizers, dedicated volunteers, and generous local businesses… to every student, family, and community member who showed up — thank you.

We are especially thankful to have been part of the evening by donating over 1,000 light-up items — seeing those smiles reminded us exactly why the All For Evelyn Foundation exists.💜

💜

The school’s annual glow dance, themed Light Up the Night, was a resounding success this year, bringing together students, families and the community for an unforgettable evening.

It helped honor the memory of the late Evelyn Bauer and raised funds for the foundaion honoring her legacy: https://tinyurl.com/y3muv5dr

Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to make special care kit deliveries to both University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh 💜

Each kit is filled with simple, thoughtful essentials—items we hope bring a small sense of comfort to parents and caregivers spending long, difficult days by their child’s side.

What started as a way to support families in their hardest moments continues to grow, reaching more hospitals and more communities than we ever imagined. We’re incredibly grateful to expand our mission beyond Northeast Ohio and into the Pittsburgh area.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible—through donations, assembling kits, and ongoing support. Because of you, we’re able to show up for families when they need it most.

💜This brings a new total of care kits delivered to 4,504! 💜

Sepsis is the body’s overwhelming response to an infection, and it can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, and even death if not treated quickly.

It can start from something as common as:
• A cold or flu
• An ear infection
• A cut or scrape

That’s why awareness is so important.

💜The more people who know, the more lives we can save.

Today marks the start of Pediatric Sepsis Week.

Sepsis can happen quickly and without warning. What may seem like a simple infection can turn life-threatening in a matter of hours.

For our family, this mission is deeply personal. We share Evelyn’s story to raise awareness, educate others, and help prevent other families from experiencing this kind of loss.

💜 Join us this week in learning the signs, sharing the message, and honoring the children impacted by sepsis.

We’re so excited to share that All for Evelyn is growing 💜

All for Evelyn is proud to announce that we are partnering with another incredible children’s hospital— UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

At the end of April, we’ll be delivering care kits to families there, helping bring comfort and support during some of their most difficult days.

None of this would be possible without our amazing community. Thank you for helping us continue Evelyn’s impact and reach more families who need it most 💜
