Lauren Brungardt at Huron Yacht Club - Lauren & her team helped everything run smoothly from start to finish. We appreciated their positive, fun, helpful energy & we owe them all such a huge thanks!!
Bryan Edwards & Doug Steinwart Huron Boat Basin & Amphitheater - For the last four years, Bryan, Doug, & their crew have generously allowed us to take over the boat basin, facilities, & main office leading up to & on the day of the derby. Behind the scenes, they help us get things organized & set up. Thank you again for your help this year!!
Mark & Jason at Lake Erie Arms - This year we tried something new…a gun raffle!! With Mark & Jason’s expertise, everything ran smoothly & stress-free. They were very helpful from start to finish. Thanks guys!!
Gathering Grounds Coffee House - We have the best coffee shop!! Thank you to Lea & her friendly baristas for having the coffee ready in the morning!!
The Huron Donut Shop - Big shout out to our local donut shop for having 10 dozen fresh donuts ready to go on the morning of the derby. They were so good!! It was hard not to eat just one!!
Trabel’s Bagels - Thank you to Mike & his team for the delicious cookies served at the derby after party. Some of the best. Hands down. If you’re in the area (before 10/25), stop by & try some of their other fantastic treats. However, after that, you’ll have to go to Norwalk to their new, bigger location. Totally. Worth. The. Drive!!
Bennett's Designs - We’ve got a great local business that is so easy to work with when it comes to making our banners. Lots of options & they get things done in a very timely manner. Thank you so much Bennett’s for our sponsor banners & signs!!
Aric Rothlisberger at Central Basin Bait, Tackle, and Carryout - Aric has always been very supportive of the Chris & Owen Kedas Memorial Fishing Derby. This year he generously donated the fishing lures that all of the teams had in their bags on the day of check-in. Thanks so much, Aric!!
Matt Hess at LEWR Custom baits - Matt is the man!! He pulled off painting 50 very cool lures on very short notice. Be sure to follow his FB page so you can see where to purchase other custom painted lures by Matt. Thanks again, Matt!!
Pierre’s Digital Print Center - Pierre’s did a fantastic job printing the tickets for the gun raffle. They took our basic image/design & turned it into something functional; perforated, numbered, everything!! Highly recommend!!
Jupe Mode - Based in Toledo, Jupe Mode pulled off printing 200 derby t-shirts. They turned out great!!
MRC Wood Products - So, not a local business but we felt like Mike & his team deserved a shout out. Also, with very short notice, they managed to print & ship the derby plaques this year with not a lot of notice. They turned out great & we couldn’t be happier!!
