Ashlyn created incredible new murals for the Iron County Health Department-WI, a project that is part of a youth internship supported by a Baldwin Foundation Wisconsin Idea Grant.

Ready, Aim, Lead! 🎯 Pre-registration is open for the Iron County, WI 4-H Shooting Sports Club's 2026–2027 season!

Ages 8–11: Archery & Air Rifle
Ages 12+: Archery, .22 Rifle, & Shotgun

Sessions meet monthly on Sundays at 4:00 PM in Iron Belt, WI, starting with a mandatory safety meeting on September 20.

More pics from AmeriCorps Member Ashley Basso's programming in partnership with the Hurley School District Kid's Club. This session took place in early July and included a bee lesson and crafts. 🐝

AmeriCorps Member Ashley Basso recently teamed up with the Hurley School District Kid's Club for a creative, hands-on environmental project. After snacking on oranges, the kids made eco-friendly bird feeders using the orange peels, bamboo sticks, twine, and bird seed—hanging them throughout the garden trees to support local wildlife.

To end the day on a special note, the group released 3 Monarch butterflies near the garden's flowers to help support local pollinators. 🦋🌺

Thank you to Ashley for leading this inspiring initiative, and to the Hurley Kid's Club for being such great partners. Together, we're building a greener, brighter future! 🌿

Location: Trails End Youth Camp
Ages: Iron County camp staff grades 8-12 (2026-2027 school year)

Iron County Outpost Camp 🍀
Dates: July 6–9, 2027
Location: Lake of the Falls Campground
Ages: Iron County youth grades 6-8 (2026-2027 school year)

Iron County Summer Youth Camp 🍀
Dates: July 20–23, 2027
Location: Trails End Youth Camp
Ages: Iron County youth grades 3-5 (2026-2027 school year)
