T'Vondre Sweat was honored last night at the Huntsville City Council Meeting for his commitment to enriching the lives of Huntsville youth. Sweat was a standout football player at Huntsville High School and The University of Texas and is currently a leading defensive lineman for the Tennessee Titans. Smiling next to him is Centerville High School and Sam Houston State Football Icon, Broderick Davis. Davis was an All Southland Conference running back for the Bearkats in the early 90's and is one of our most tenured police officers. We are proud of both of these men for their contributions and commitment to the Huntsville community.
