The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen needs your help!

During the summer months, we provide hot meals and food boxes to food insecure families in North Alabama.

Since school is out, we are providing meals for more children than usual. I am asking for small toys and school supplies to provide the children during their visit to the Soup Kitchen.

I am asking for NEW toys, coloring books, crayons and juice boxes to serve with their meal.

Just the little note on the refrigerator at the Rose Of Sharon Soup Kitchen.

It is a reminder that our mission isn’t just to serve food to people that are hungry. It’s about us serving people with love and dignity and pointing them to the cross!

Please pray for the church service this morning at the Rose Of Sharon Soup Kitchen at 10 AM. Everyone is welcome and will be loved.

Ministry is gut wrenching at times, but there is a lot of silliness too!

The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen meets people’s needs, loves people like family, that ultimately leads them to knowing Jesus for the first time or a better relationship with Jesus!

We laugh a lot, we cry a lot and sometimes go home and wonder why our mission is so difficult. It’s difficult because we truly love and care for the hurt, lost, lonely and forgotten.

Please continue to pray God’s will and provision over The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen.

WE NEED EGGS!

The Rose of Sharon Soup Kitchen could really use eggs to serve for breakfast.

We are currently serving over 150 hungry souls for breakfast and the numbers are rising since children are out of school and need meal assistance.

We utilize over 40 dozen when we serve eggs!
