The Huntsville Community Drumline Performing Arts Summer Camp The Huntsville Community Drumline will host their first annual performing arts camp.

"Beat of the Drummer" Performing Arts Camp will be offered to children from ages ten to fifteen. This camp will be a 3 week intensive workshop, where participants will develop their skills in the artistic areas of Percussion, Theatre, and Modern Dance. Professional instructors and performers are collaborating with us to provide a program that will foster discipline, precision, and improvisation in

a rigorous yet fun-filled environment. This camp will help our local youth to develop the skills of determination and resilience that will lead them to success no matter what path they choose. Each child will be able to create a unique schedule that caters to their own individual interests and abilities. Regardless of their abilities, there is a place for all youth in this Summer Camp.

Attn: PARENTALS 🗣🗣🗣 If their grades aren't the best or their behavior is questionable, take their phones, their video games, their toys, their iPad, their TV, their food, their computers, their headphones 🎧, their ear buds etc.

We understand that consequences are necessary!! However, please don't take Huntsville C Drumline 🥁🥁🥁 away from this amazing, hard working team. Participation in drumline was never intended to be used as a reward/punishment.

These kids are investing in a not too distant version of themselves! Practices are incredibly intense! 😣😖 Instructor Frederick Walker isn't even all that nice!! He is demanding and his expectations of them are high!!!! They are required to put the work in at EVERY practice!!!

Trust the process!! You'll be glad you did and they will too!
(Oh and you probably should let them eat 😂)
