The holiday season is approaching, and we are seeking community partners to support our efforts in sponsoring children in foster care. We anticipate receiving wish lists from the children by early October and would appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you, your company, or organization to sponsor our kids. Additionally, if you have available space for collecting and sorting gifts, kindly reach out to us. As a volunteer-based organization without physical office or storage space, we rely heavily on community support.

As a volunteer organization serving foster children in Madison County, Alabama we support them financially for many extracurricular activities throughout the year. We never meet the children and only respond to requests through foster parents and social workers. We are blessed by the support of the community. Once in a while we receive a thank you from a child we have assisted and enabled them to attend summer camps. We wanted to share our beautiful card from two of the kids this summer.

FOCAL was the featured charity organization at the Trash Panda game on Thursday evening. The weather didn’t stop the fans. We love sharing our mission to assist foster families in Madison County with the community!

When you sponsor a child for Christmas, you don’t really know much about them. It can also make you question whether or not they actually received the gifts. We wanted to share with you two ”thank you” notes we received to assure you that we make sure the gifts get to the children you sponsored.

As the year draws to a close, we want to acknowledge and send our sincere gratitude to the many companies and individuals who helped us assist over 390 children in foster care and their foster parents in Madison County, Alabama with Christmas wishes. Each child submitted a wish list, we matched them with a sponsor, and our sponsors came through with love and generosity in fulfilling those wishes. This is our biggest project of the year, and we could not do this without the support of this community. Special thanks to all those who contributed from COLSA Corporation, Pinnacle Bank, ServisFirst Bank, Heart Center Research, North Alabama Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Avion Solutions, Sean Robinson Neighborhood Group, Turner Construction, Episcopal Church of the Nativity, Dynetics, Frontier Technology, DTechLogic, Concurrent Technologies, Silo Design Build Studio/Architect, Redstone Government Consulting, Teledyne Brown Engineering, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, Power Brands Hospitality Group, FITZ PILATES and the many individuals who sponsored on their own. Also a big thank you to the Margarita Ball and Huntsville Women's Tennis Association for their generous gifts of toys that helped us fill needs as they arose.
