What a day!

Cooking with Brenda Gantt , it was truly an honor to have you in Huntsville. Your message reminded all of us that we are all influencers: in our families, our schools, our workplaces, and our communities. But even more inspiring than your words was watching you live that message throughout the day. You genuinely took an interest in every single person you met. You spent hours talking with people, taking pictures, signing books, sharing stories, and making each person feel special. We are so grateful you shared your time and your heart with us.

An event like this takes a LOT of people, and we have so many to thank!

First, thank you to everyone who traveled from all over the country to spend the day with us! We loved welcoming you to Huntsville and hope you will come back soon!

A huge thank you to Power Brands Hospitality Group for sponsoring the event and helping us make this special day possible.

Thank you to the Huntsville City Schools and Madison County Schools culinary departments for preparing all of the delicious samples, and to Huntsville High School for opening its doors to us and making sure everything looked perfect.

And the HHS family showed up in a BIG way! Thank you to the HHS SGA for helping with anything and everything we needed; the security, police, custodial and CNP teams for taking such good care of us; the HHS Art Department for the beautiful banner; and the HHS football team for providing some serious muscle and moving 800+ books and 1,000 bottles of water into the school!

There were so many hands behind the scenes that made this day possible, and we are incredibly grateful for every one of them.

And most of all, thank you, Brenda. Thank you for reminding us that influence isn't about how many people know your name, it's about how you make the people in front of you feel. We saw that firsthand all day long. ❤️

What a special day for The Schools Foundation and our community!

We welcomed school administrators from across North Alabama for a day centered on leadership, collaboration, and learning from one another.

Keynote speaker Carlos Ojeda, Jr. challenged our leaders with his message, “Don’t Fight Back, Fight Forward,” and Chuck Marcum, Chief of Staff for the Alabama State Department of Education, shared his experience and perspective with the group.

One of the highlights of the day was our educator panel focused on student leadership and meaningful student voice. Thank you to Amy Whaley, Jennifer Porche, Andrew Sivak, Kelsey Cooper, Jameel Lewis, Kewanee Murphy, and Cassidy Toles for sharing your experiences and ideas with our school leaders.

Principally Speaking Network gives administrators the opportunity to connect with colleagues, learn from others, and take new ideas back to their schools.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to a great year ahead!

Thank you to our sponsors and Alabama Department of Education
