We can't wait to see everyone that signed up on August 8th at 9am!!!! We will have a sign in sheet and you will pay your $10.00 entry fee at that time.

The slouch market bag sewing workshop is this saturday!
We have just a few spots left for the sewing workshop 😀

We are moving the location of the sewing workshop to the extension office in huntsville.

It starts at 9am june 13th.

Need 1 yrd of non stretchy fabric like a cotton/cotton blend (additional yrd of fabric if you want two different colors/patterns), thread, and a sack lunch.

Thank you all for coming out last night to the Herb to Plate workshop! Thanks to the agents and Kandice fpr their help as well as the ladies that made different dishes for everyone to sample. Our next event will be a sewing workshop and that will be happening in June. A flyer with what participants will need to bring will go out so keep an eye out for that post.

We will be sharing recipes in a seperate post!

🌿Reminder: Herb to Plate Workshop is TODAY!🌿

Thank you all for sharing our posts and helping spread the word! We’re excited to say the workshop is fully booked as of yesterday—thank you for the amazing support!

Tonight, we’ll be learning together how to plant, harvest, preserve, and cook with herbs. The EHC ladies have also prepared a variety of delicious samples to give you inspiration for using herbs in your own kitchen.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Join us for a free, hands-on workshop where you’ll plant your own herb garden to take home! We’ll have pots, soil, and a variety of herb seeds ready for you.
Enjoy herb-inspired samples like dips, veggies, meats, and more prepared by the Madison County Extension Homemakers, plus a quick lesson on dehydrating herbs. You’ll also get to touch and smell different herbs along the way.
