Don't forget... the annual Parks and Recreation Therapeutic Fishing Rodeo is TOMORROW at Brahan Spring Park 🎣 Last weekend, the catfish were playing a little coy (koi?) 🙃 So, they should be really ready to bite tomorrow! Grab that rod and reel and get ready for some fun and prizes. This is open to any child or adult with a disability. Registration starts at 730 a.m. at the north lagoon. The fishing begins at 8. We are looking forward to Saturday!

The fish will be big but the grins will be even bigger at this Saturday's Therapeutic Fishing Rodeo. Always a joy for Huntsville Parks and Recreation to host this event with City of Huntsville, Alabama - Government 💚

Sponsored by Optimistsouthhuntsville, the free fishing rodeo is open to any child or adult with adaptive needs.

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. at Brahan Spring Park lagoon. Fishing begins at 8 a.m. Prizes and awards will be handed out at 9:30 a.m. Bring your own seating, equipment and bait.

If you want to do something during this National Emergency for those with food needs without leaving the safety of your home you can donate to the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Alabama. They are providing evening drive-through and delivery services, but with the loss of revenue from cancelling fundraising events, program service revenue, and state childcare reimbursement, they are looking at as much as $100,00 loss for the next couple months.
