Today at CRI, the incredible team from Goodwill of Arkansas came out to provide a specialized Reentry Class for our men.

We are so deeply grateful for Goodwill’s mission, their resources, and their genuine heart for men and women who are putting in the hard work to change their lives. It takes a whole community working together to build a true pathway to restoration, and Goodwill is a massive part of that ecosystem.

Thank you, Goodwill of Arkansas, for investing in our guys and helping them prepare for a strong, stable future. Keep up the phenomenal work! 🚀👏

True leadership isn’t about status—it’s about a heart willing to grow. 💼📖

The heart of our program at Returning Home is equipping men to become leaders in their workplaces, their homes, and their communities. Every single week, our leadership class begins with Scripture through verse mapping and finishes with a focused lesson on what it truly means to lead.

What makes this so powerful? These men voluntarily sacrifice their sleep on a Friday morning to be here. Even after completing our program, their desire to keep growing, learning, and transforming never stops.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication. They aren't just changing their own futures; they are changing the legacy of their families and our entire community. 🙌

Chris has been a part of the Returning Home family for two years now. To say we are proud of him is an understatement—he has come so far in life, and watching his growth has been an absolute joy.

Chris brings 15 years of culinary and restaurant experience from his past, but over the last two years, he’s been working hard and building stability in the poultry industry. Recently, he sat down with us and shared that his heart was ready to get back into the restaurant world.

Literally less than a week later, State Rep. Robin Lundstrum called out of the blue. She told us they are getting ready to reopen the legendary AQ Chicken House in Springdale and wanted to know if any of our guys would be a good fit for their team.

Three days later, Chris walked into the interview and was hired on the spot! 🎉

Chris, we are so incredibly excited for you to get back to doing what you love. Your resilience and dedication have paid off.

Last week, 9 of our men at CRI successfully completed their WAGE (Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy) classes!

We are incredibly grateful to Fayetteville Adult Education for their continued investment in our clients, equipping them with the essential workplace and academic skills they need to thrive. A special shout-out to Jessica—she has such an amazing heart, and we truly couldn't do this work without her dedication and support!

True friendship is built on the road to restoration. 🤝✨

When James finished his time at CRI, it was a bittersweet moment. He and Rick had built a great friendship, and it’s always hard to see a brother move on. But there is no better way to honor that friendship than by getting out and making the most of every opportunity!

We were so glad James stopped by CRI to see us recently. He is doing exactly what we hope for every man who walks through our doors:
✅ Working hard at Multi-Craft
✅ Living at the Drug Court's Farmington House
✅ Staying connected to his community

James, we are so incredibly proud of you. We are cheering you on as you continue to build your new life!

These photos from our recent baptism at CRI capture more than just a ceremony; they capture the investment being made into these men’s lives. One of these photos shows just a few of the many individuals who step into our facility every week to support, mentor, and guide.

While many of our regular volunteers couldn't be there for this specific event, their impact is felt daily. By increasing community access and allowing neighbors to invest in those who are currently incarcerated, Washington County is becoming exactly the kind of community these men need to succeed.

When we invest in their restoration today, we are building a stronger, safer community for everyone tomorrow.

Yesterday was a very special day at CRI! 🌊🙌

We are so proud to announce that 9 men were baptized! This is an incredible commitment they’ve made to share their faith in such a meaningful and public way.

Seeing these lives being repaired and families being restored is exactly why we do what we do. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came out to support, pray for, and invest in these men as they walk this new path.

Your support makes these moments of transformation possible!

When you’re grinding every day to help men navigate reentry, the small things matter—and when the TV at our CRI location stopped working a few weeks ago, it was a big deal.

That TV is a hub for our programming, church services, and much-needed leisure time. Because our grant and county funding are tied to specific budget lines, a new TV wasn't in the immediate cards... but our amazing partners at Ladies of Grace stepped up!

They didn't just buy a TV; they invested in the morale and growth of these men. We are so grateful for community partners who see a need and move to fill it. Ladies of Grace, thank you for being such a vital part of the CRI family! 🙌📺❤️

Last week, Returning Home was invited to the Berryville Amnesty Day! We have over 20 clients working at Tyson Foods in Berryville, so it was a privilege to be there. Thank you, Jeremiah 29:11 Recovery for the invite.

They say it takes a village, and in Northwest Arkansas, the team at Pearl is a huge part of ours.

Today, we’re taking a break from the grind to celebrate a vital partner of ours: Jim! Jim works for Pearl at the CRI location, an organization doing amazing things for men and women in NWA, navigating the justice system and recovery.

We get so focused on our clients that we sometimes forget to celebrate the dedicated people who make this work possible. Jim, thank you for your heart and for the investment you make in every life you touch. Happy Birthday, buddy—you finally did it, you got older! 🛡️🙌 FYI Jim, the only reason we are pointing you out is that we know how uncomfortable this will make you lol!
