On this day, 715 years ago, the order to arrest and permanently disband the Knights Templar was executed. At dawn on Friday, October 13, 1307, King Philip IV ordered that Grand Master DeMolay and scores of other Templars to be simultaneously arrested and be cast into dungeons until they were to face the Council Inquisition for unjust trials.

Master Councilor John and Brothers Briar and J.W. were working hard today at Masonic friend Eddie Brown’s yard. These brothers showed the strength of their character in the August heat as they tackled stumps, bushes and more with a smile on their faces. These young men with their servant leadership attributes are what we hope will be our country’s leaders in the future.

Ladies and gentlemen and friends of Twickenham Milford Chapter, tomorrow and Sunday is the Whistlestop Featival in Huntsville. If you went to the Centennial in Kansas City, the food was made by Slappin’ Butts BBQ. The owner is one of the vendors/competitors this weekend. Dad Mike Rushin, EO of Arkansas. I’ll be paying my $10 to get in. Hope to see more of us there too.
