🦌 Exciting News for Our Community! 🦌

We are incredibly grateful to Farm Bureau, Local Living, Cartmell Wild Game Processing, and Hunters Feeding the Hungry for partnering to bring the meat stick program back to Madison County! ❤️

This wonderful initiative helps provide a much-needed source of protein for students facing food insecurity through our Bright Futures snackpack program.

🏈 Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30!

Bright Futures Huntsville, Madison County Farm Bureau, Local Living, and Hunters Feeding the Hungry will be at the home football game with some fantastic gift baskets to raffle off! 🎟️🧺

All proceeds from the raffle will support this important initiative and help us continue meeting the needs of students in our community.

👀 Stay tuned for a sneak peek at our raffle baskets and opportunities to buy raffle tickets even if you can’t make it to the game. We have some wonderful items lined up that you won’t want to miss!

Thank you to these amazing community partners for helping us make a difference, one student at a time! ❤️

💙🧡 BRIGHT FUTURES CARE KITS 🧡💙

We’re working to restock every Huntsville School District school with Care Kits so they’re ready to share with students and families during Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 19 — and available throughout the year whenever a need arises.

We would love our community’s help filling them! 🫶

We’re collecting new, unopened personal care and everyday essentials, including:

🧴 Shampoo & conditioner
🫧 Body wash & bar soap
🪥 Toothbrushes & toothpaste
💙 Deodorant, spray deodorant & body spray
💕 Feminine hygiene products
🧦 Socks — all sizes
👕 New underwear — all sizes
🪮 Combs & brushes
🧺 Laundry detergent or pods
✨ Facial cleansing wipes
🛍️ Gallon-size zip-top bags

📍 Donations can be dropped off at Huntsville Intermediate School, or we’ll be happy to arrange pickup!

There’s no donation deadline — these are items we can use all year long. Our immediate goal is simply to have our schools restocked and ready for Parent/Teacher Conference Day.

Sometimes something as simple as clean socks, deodorant, shampoo, or toothpaste can make a meaningful difference in a student’s day. ❤️

A little care can make a BIG difference.

Thank you for continuing to help Bright Futures Huntsville connect our students and families with the resources they need to thrive.

A big thank you to Caleb's Closet! We reached out to see if they happened to have three specific shoe sizes needed for three HSD students, and he was able to bring a few pairs our way today! Thank you for being champions for our kids! We’re grateful for community partners who help us fill specific needs for our students when they arise! ❤️

Some days are a great reminder of just how special our community is. 💙

Late Friday afternoon, a family needed timely help. With the first two calls we made, we were able to find most of what was needed and have it delivered in less than an hour!

A special thank you to The Hive and Coger’s Surplus for responding so quickly and helping us make it happen. We are incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful community partners who step up when a need arises.

Thank you, The Hive and Coger’s Surplus, for being Bright Futures Champions and helping us care for our families!
