The Huntsville-Madison County Hospitality Association proudly hosted the 29th Annual Pineapple Dinner & Awards Ceremony at Burritt on the Mountain - an evening filled with incredible people, outstanding achievements, and a shared love for our local hospitality industry.

From honoring future industry leaders through our scholarship recipients, to celebrating culinary excellence with the return of Taste of Huntsville, and recognizing those who go above and beyond through our People’s Choice, Red Ribbon, and Pineapple Awards - the night truly showcased the heart of hospitality in our community.

HMCHA's Taste of Huntsville event makes a comeback in a reimagined way! We can't wait to see everyone on the trail at Huntsville Botanical Garden tonight - October 2nd - from 6-8p for an elegant evening tasting culinary creations from some of our amazing local restaurants and beverage vendors. Huge thank you to our sponsors for helping make this event happen after a 5-year hiatus, and to the more than 400 people who bought tickets!

Act fast and reserve your spot now for this Thursday's return of the 46th Annual "Taste of Huntsville - Reimagined" presented by Redstone Federal Credit Union and happening along the trail at Huntsville Botanical Garden from 6-8p! General Admission gets you unlimited tastings from all vendors along the route, live music from 5 local artists, and a hand-crafted Welcome Cocktail along with a keepsake commemorative engraved wine glass.

Feeling generous? For an extra $25 you can upgrade your ticket to the VIP level and receive an exclusive wine and bourbon tasting paired with small bites in the "Sysco Friends of Hospitality VIP Area." Proceeds from the VIP upgrade go directly into our scholarship fund to support students going into the local hospitality industry, or whose parents currently work in the local hospitality industry - these scholarships are awarded annually during our Pineapple Dinner & Awards Ceremony at the beginning of each year.

‼️We just learned that joining us in the VIP Area will be Lewis "LC" Clyde May himself - pouring tastes of his newest batch of Clyde May's‼️ (Must be 21+ and show a valid ID to consume any alcohol at event.)

🌧 This is a rain or shine event, with a backup location inside the Garden's Grand Hall if there is inclement weather. Less than 100 tickets remain to make this comeback year a sell-out!

This month, we had the pleasure of hearing from the Alabama Tourism Department, Sweet Home Alabama, learning about the exciting opportunities ahead of our state's travel and hospitality industry. Thank you to the staff at the Von Braun Center and Mars Music Hall for hosting us and providing such a tasty lunch! 🌟
