Our Values ✨ the heart of Russel Hill Cancer Foundation. When we looked back to the beginning and where we want to go in the future, these three values were the constant.

We see people, not a diagnosis--remembering that "you have cancer, cancer does not have you."

Community is our backbone. A helping hand on a hard day, encouragement when the road seems long.

We want to say "yes" -- whether its financial assistance or navigating the unknown of a cancer diagnosis, we are here to help!

As part of our new strategic plan, we are proud to introduce Russel Hill Cancer Foundation's new vision. Our vision is the driving force behind our mission and reflects who the Foundation is at its core--a source of hope, support, and community for those facing cancer.

May 1st marked an exciting new chapter for Russel Hill as we officially launched our new mission, vision, and values.

Over the past year, Russel Hill had the privilege of bringing together a strategic planning committee made up of board members, community leaders, and healthcare professionals. Along with the help of several focus groups, the committee thoughtfully helped to shape the future of the Foundation and ensure we continue meeting the evolving needs of the cancer community.

This process has challenged us to dream bigger, listen deeper, and define who we are at our core. Our renewed mission reflects our commitment to improving the lives of cancer patients and families.

Another great year of Battle of the Buffalo! We are so grateful to brothers of UAH ATO and their continued hard work in making an impact in the cancer community. We're thankful for their generosity and the milestone $78,000 they so graciously donated to Russel Hill. This isn't just a donation, it's hope to those who are battling cancer. πŸŽ—οΈπŸ€πŸ’ͺ

We're so thankful for our partners like the PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome Foundation and the work they are doing! πŸ’™πŸŽ—οΈ

The PTEN Foundation is honored to receive a generous grant from the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation. This support allows us to continue and expand our mission of serving individuals and families affected by PTEN Hamartoma Tumor Syndrome (PHTS).

For more than a decade, our work has been driven by a commitment to advocacy, education, research support, and building a strong, connected community. What began as a small but determined effort has grown into a global network focused on improving awareness, accelerating understanding, and supporting those navigating life with PTEN mutations.

This grant is more than funding, it’s an investment in hope, progress, and the people at the heart of everything we do. It strengthens our ability to provide vital resources, amplify patient voices, and collaborate with clinicians and researchers working toward better outcomes.

We are especially grateful for the continued dedication of leaders in this space, including the ongoing efforts that have raised visibility, built research momentum, and fostered community support for PTEN-related conditions over the years.

πŸ’™ To the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation: thank you for believing in this mission and in the PTEN community.
Together, we move forward stronger, supported, and more determined than ever. Russel Hill Cancer Foundation

We're so excited that this Saturday is the 17th round of Battle of the Buffalo, hosted by the UAH ATO brothers!

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting them for a tour of Clearview Cancer Insitute. The ATO's got a first hand look at where the patients they're impacting walk through their cancer journeys. Since its beginning, Battle of the Buffalo has raised over $500,000 for cancer patients and local cancer research--with over $390,000 being given to the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation.

We are proud of the work that these college students are doing for the cancer community! We hope that you will join us this Saturday, April 18th at Big Spring Park for Battle of the Buffalo!
