VBA 7U Vegas Gold wrapped up an incredible Spring Season at the Cal Ripken 873 Classic in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, finishing 5–1 and coming up just short in the championship game.
This group battled all week long, taking on some of the top 7U competition in the country and earning a spot in an all‑VBA championship against our brothers, VBA 7U Black. Having both teams competing for the title was a special moment—a true reflection of the talent, work ethic, and culture within our organization.
Throughout the season, VBA Vegas Gold traveled across the South, competing against teams from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. The boys closed out their 7U Spring campaign with an impressive 26–9 record.
VBA 7U Vegas Gold Fall/Spring
Competed in 12 tournaments
Earned a spot in the championship game in 10 of those 12 events
Captured 4 tournament championships
Finished with an impressive 39–14 overall record
This team consistently competed at a high level, battling their way to the final game weekend after weekend. Their hard work, resilience, and love for the game were on full display all season long.
But the real story is the growth. This group learned how to compete, handle adversity, be great teammates, and represent VBA the right way. Every single player took major steps forward, and we couldn’t be more proud of their progress.
A huge thank you to our families for the miles, the weekends, and the unwavering support. What a year.

🏆 CHAMPIONS 🏆

VBA 7U Black finished the season the perfect way, going 6-0 and bringing home the Championship from The Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge.

This group battled all week, playing the top 7U competition around and finishing with an all-VBA championship game against our brothers, VBA 7U Vegas Gold. Having both VBA teams playing for the title was a special moment and a testament to the talent, hard work, and culture within our organization.

This season, VBA Black traveled across the Southeast competing against teams from Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, and Mississippi. The boys closed out their 7U season with a perfect 19-0 record while also challenging themselves by playing up in 8U, where they finished an impressive 22-9.

More important than the trophies, this group grew tremendously over the past year. They learned how to compete, how to handle adversity, how to be teammates, and how to represent VBA the right way. We couldn’t be more proud of the progress every player made.

A special thank you to our families for the countless miles, weekends, and support throughout the season. What a year for VBA 7U Black.
