The PJR Community Closet got an upgrade!! 🤍📦💜

✨ We are amazed at how an extra 50 square feet has transformed our space! This upgrade allows us to organize things the way we need in order to better serve our PJR families ✨

We now have room for 2 extra storage shelves and we have several other items on our shopping list for this expanded space (not all of them can be added to our Amazon wish list!) 📝

Thank you SO much to everyone who donated time, money, or goods this past year. Our Gross Profit was 10 times higher in 2025 than it was in 2024 and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you so much for your support and keep your eyes open for our 2025 Impact Report, which will be released near the end of next month 💜

Just like that, we’re 2-years-old! 2️⃣🥳

Today is The PJR Collective’s second birthday, and we couldn’t be more glad and grateful for the people we’ve been privileged enough to serve.

Men, women, mothers, kids. What an enormous gift and honor it is to stand in the gap with people as they transition to healthier lives for themselves and their families. Our goal at The PJR is to create healthy lives and healthy legacies: legacies that nurture future generations as they carry the torch of healing🔥💜.

This type of healing takes years to create, cultivate, and incorporate. It can involve court, hospital stays, financial counseling, job acquisition, house hunting, collaboration with other area non-profits, DHR, police, and Crisis Services. It includes a sounding board, a proverbial shoulder to cry on, counseling services, community, food, clothing, and transitional bill pay. Healing and becoming whole again is no easy feat.

Healing is a long road.
We make sure you don’t have to walk it alone. 👣

💜💜 We spent the afternoon with some of our leadership team, celebrating at Lanier House Madison, who will be hosting our DV Awareness fundraiser next month! There are only a handful of tickets left to the last tea service of the day, so snag them while you can! 💜💜

Join us for a fundraising tea! 🫖

Lanier House Madison and The PJR Collective are coming together for a fundraiser in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

🗓️ Sunday, October 12th
☕️ Tea Services are at 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM
(1:00 PM Tea Service is nearly sold out!)

All proceeds will benefit The PJR Collective, providing essential support to victims of domestic violence.

DONATION DETAILS ⬇️

One of the services we provide is assistance applying for PFA (Protection from Abuse) orders as well as support and advocacy during court hearings.

We’re putting together “Busy Bags” for kids ages 0–5 to give them a little comfort and distraction while waiting during emergency hearings.

What we’re collecting:
• Tote bags
• Crayons + coloring books
• Quiet toys (cars, dolls, fidgets, etc.)
• Spiral bound paper (for notes + activities)

Every donation helps bring a moment of peace to a child during a very difficult day. DM us to coordinate pick-up, or mail to:
