💜 We Won a Grant! 💜

We are honored and grateful to share that The PJR Collective has been selected as one of 12 organizations to receive an initial $1,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville!

Out of 58 submissions, this recognition means so much to our team and the work we do to support survivors of domestic violence. We are incredibly thankful for this opportunity to continue making a difference in our community.

Trauma isn’t always visible. ✨💜✨

Some wounds leave bruises. Others leave silence, hypervigilance, self-doubt, or years of walking on eggshells. Every survivor’s story is valid, and healing begins when we recognize that trauma comes in many forms.

At The PJR Collective and The Rocket City Starlets, we’re committed to shining a light on domestic violence, breaking generational cycles of abuse, supporting survivors, reminding every person that they are never alone, and helping them bring back their sparkle.

Together, we can replace silence with hope, fear with healing, and shame with strength.

🍎 Happy First Day of School! ✏️

Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous donor, as well as continued support from our entire community, we successfully fulfilled every item on our K-12 students' back-to-school lists!

We also were able to cover some pre-k and college level supplies as well as back to school clothes, water bottles, and lunch boxes where needed.

Wishing everyone a wonderful 2026-2027 school year! 🎒
