Dear Neighbors,

We would like to inform all residents of upcoming road and sewer infrastructure repairs that will impact traffic within our neighborhood.

The City of Huntsville Water Pollution Control and Public Works Departments will begin repairing a failing sanitary sewer main and roadway areas along Brac Circle and Litespeed Lane starting Monday, August 24, 2026. Work is expected to continue through Friday, August 28, 2026.

What to Expect
Work will begin on Brac Circle and proceed north to Litespeed Lane, then continue east along Litespeed Lane.
During construction on Brac Circle, the City will provide a temporary access road along the sidewalk area so residents can continue to enter and exit the street.
Once construction moves to Litespeed Lane, residents will need to use the alternate route via Natures Way to access the neighborhood.
Following completion of the sewer repairs, the Public Works Department will return at a later date to perform roadway paving and final restoration.

Please review the attached map showing the construction area. The red highlighted area indicates the work zone, and the orange highlighted area indicates the temporary roadway.

We understand this project may cause temporary inconvenience, but these repairs are necessary to address infrastructure issues and improve the long-term condition of our roads and utilities.

Reserve and Belltower Neighbors:

The Pool is Closed-- The pool is undergoing treatment after the weekend, and signs are posted that the pool is closed. The Pool Service Tech came to complete the treatment and found that People entered the pool, disregarding the closure signs. Because of this, he could not complete the treatment. The pool treatment is delayed another day, and it could be at greater expense.

When the "Pool is Closed" and the signs are posted, DO NOT ENTER THE POOL. Stay out of the water. The signs will be removed when everything has been taken care of and the pool is open.

The pool is CLOSED until the treatment is completed on Wednesday, Aug 5.

Hi Neighbors! I’m Pam Younger, the Pool Chair for our beautiful swimming pool. I just want everyone to know that we just put a new safety lock on the pool bathroom several weeks ago and somehow, it has broken. Not sure how this happened. It was on there very well. But, anyway, I have ordered a new one which will be delivered to me sometime tomorrow. Is there anyone in the neighborhood that is a handyman that could possibly put the new door lock/handle on for me? Being a holiday weekend, I haven’t found anyone that could do it asap for this weekend. Please message me if you can. That would be wonderful and so much appreciated.

I would like to remind everyone using the pool to please put the umbrellas down and tie them before leaving. If you happen to see one open that someone forgot, please put it down. We have these pop up thunderstorms that can really do a lot of damage to them.

Also, please do not bring any glass containers to the pool area. We don’t want any child to get cut on glass or anyone else. Please put your trash in the trash bins as well. This beautiful pool is all of ours to enjoy and to keep clean. I am just one person and it is hard for me to run to the pool every evening to check umbrellas, trash, glass etc.

If you have teens that go to the pool, parents, please go over the rules with them. It’s much appreciated.

We want everyone to enjoy the pool and to stay safe this Summer.

Again, if someone can put a new lock/handle on bathroom door, please message me.

FYI! When duck’s get in our pool, it has to close down until thoroughly cleaned. Sorry about last week when it closed. I didn’t have access to this FB page to let everyone know.
You will be informed here ASAP when there is a closure.

RESERVE HOMEOWNERS ONLY—REMEMBER TO SIGN UP RE: YOUR RED MAPLE TREES

Earlier this month, the Board of Directors of the Reserve Homeowners Association released an email advising residents that Stoney Gray, the arborist who is advising the Board on how best to save and retain the red maple trees along Natures Way, would offer discounted consultations to Reserve residents who may be interested in getting assistance with the trees and/or shrubs on their own property. So far, nine homeowners have asked to have Mr Gray assess the health of plants on their property and recommend any remedial action.

If you are interested in participating or coordinating with neighbors for tree/shrub analysis and treatment in the coming months, please contact Dave Fledderman at [email protected] by February 3, 2026, to be included on the list for the arborist. Dave will follow-up with you on scheduling the site visit in late February or early March.
