The Center and Library at Shenanigans A safe space to access and connect to resources, socialize, learn and engage in community projects. This and so much more to come!

This organization is being created to serve as a community center and collaborative and safe workshop space for marginalized communities and like-minded individuals. We will house Huntsville’s LGBTQ Free Closet, a Diversity library featuring books written by, for or about diverse peoples.

While donations are always greatly appreciated, we have to ask everyone to keep them relevant and safe for our volunteers. If you wish to donate to The Center please make sure your donations are clean and gently used. Any bags/boxes the items are stored in should also be clean. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you swing by for events and free books soon!

Excited to announce that we have 16 newly trained Center volunteers and we will now have open hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays with a third day announced soon! We will have another training day in the near future!

The Center is OPEN on Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 3pm-6pm for anyone and everyone to socialize, learn, and connect to resources in a safe space. The free library would make a great Spring Break visit for people of all ages to find their next read whether you want to learn something new or lose yourself in a different world, we've got it.

Do you wish The Center was open more throughout the week? Come volunteer and help us make it happen! A volunteer training event will take place this Sunday, March 16th for anyone interested.
