Update on Jordan from his Dad: 💪💛

Jordan made it through surgery yesterday. The dr said it went great. They were able to remove 99.5 percent of the tumor on his brain. Now the next steps ,recovery, chemo, radiation, just to make sure everything is gone. They are doing more scans later on today to make sure nothing else is in there.

Tomorrow was supposed to be a day of celebration. A day Jordan would ring the bell, marking the end of his cancer journey and celebrating being cancer-free. Instead, tomorrow—the very same day he was supposed to ring that bell—he will be undergoing surgery to have a new brain tumor removed after learning his cancer has returned. 💔

Jordan fought with fierce bravery and strength the first time and I know he will do the same as he faces this beast again. Surgery will be 3 to 5 hours tomorrow and they should be able to remove 99.5% of the tumor, but he will still have to undergo chemo and radiation. He will be out of school for an extended amount of time as it is of the utmost importance that he not put any kind of stress on his brain.

Please join us in praying for Jordan. Pray for his surgeons, for a successful surgery, for healing, and for strength and a peace that passes all understanding for his family tomorrow and the days to come.

Here’s the official report from the Red Cross. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! As I had mentioned a while back, in the 20 months that Greyson was in treatment he had over 100 blood and/or platelet transfusions-and that’s just one little kiddo. They need is huge and we appreciate you giving selflessly of yourself to help meet that need.
