We were honored to welcome participants of the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL) program to Huntsville, AL all the way from Lithuania! Global Ties Alabama was so excited to showcase our city’s innovation, leadership, and hospitality.
Throughout the week, our distinguished guests engaged with Huntsville’s defense and government leaders, explored opportunities for international collaboration, and experienced the vibrant community spirit that makes our city unique.
Highlights included:
🔹 Meetings with companies such as Baron Weather, Sigmatech, and Aerovironment Inc.
🔹 Conversations at the Mayor’s Office about a potential sister city partnership — and the presentation of Huntsville honorary citizenship.
🔹 Signing an MoU with NAITA to foster future collaboration with the National Defense Industries Association (NGPA).
🔹 Volunteering at Manna House, connecting through service to our community.
We’re proud to have facilitated meaningful dialogue, strengthened international relationships, and shared the best of Huntsville with our guests.
