Huntsville Women for Good expresses deep gratitude for the chance to extend our impact beyond our regular quarterly grants. At our holiday sip and shop event hosted at Kendra Scott, we had the privilege of raising funds and awareness about the remarkable work of this nonprofit organization. The response from shoppers, both within and outside our membership, was overwhelmingly positive as they eagerly supported our fundraising efforts. The influence of The North Alabama Foster Closet extends far and wide within our city, bringing about transformative changes in the lives of those it serves.

What happens when women come together to make a difference? Lives are changed! Thanks to Joy Ragland and Huntsville Women For Good, caregivers in our community are receiving a powerful gift —Filled: 60 Devotions for the Foster Parent’s Heart.

This heartfelt devotional, written by a foster parent for foster parents, offers life-giving promises and hope-filled truths tailored to the unique joys and challenges of fostering. Each reading includes Scripture, real-life experiences, Biblical encouragement, and suggestions for continued reflection—providing strength and reassurance when it's needed most.

This quarter, Huntsville Women for Good made a collective decision to concentrate on a specific area of need during our nomination process. After voting on various causes, it was evident that Hunger and Nutrition were at the forefront of our priorities. The prevalence of food scarcity and insecurity is a pressing issue, particularly in Huntsville, Alabama, where rates are alarmingly high.

Our community has been deeply impacted by the services provided by The Manna House, either through volunteering or receiving assistance. It was truly inspiring to learn more about this remarkable nonprofit organization and the dedicated woman behind its operations.

We are thrilled to announce The Manna House as the recipient of our 8th cycle grant.

Congratulations to this deserving organization as well as The Food Bank of North Alabama (pictured last) for their outstanding work in addressing hunger and nutrition needs in our community.

Huntsville Women for Good had the awesome opportunity to present our current grant winners with a grand total of $6150.00!

Let us tell you, the atmosphere at AshaKiran is absolutely serene and peaceful. Just being there makes us imagine how tranquil their homes must be for victims of domestic violence and survivors of trafficking.

The staff at AshaKiran is beyond dedicated to their cause and community. They are filled with compassion, empathy, and a nurturing presence that is truly inspiring.

We are so grateful for their hard work and feel incredibly honored to have supported such a wonderful nonprofit.

We are thrilled to announce the recipient of our 5th Grant Cycle, AshaKiran, who has been awarded our largest grant yet, totaling $6,150.00.

AshaKiran is a remarkable organization that offers a range of essential services to victims of domestic violence and survivors of trafficking. Their dedication to providing safe havens, resources, transportation, and more is invaluable to our community. They have numerous initiatives in place to positively impact the lives of those affected by domestic violence, including children.

We are deeply honored to play a small part in making their upcoming holiday season truly special.
