“We hear you” come to the Sam Houston duck pond on April 26th to join in remembrance of those who have passed from sexual violence. There will be speakers from different backgrounds telling their stories and how that impacted them.

Being there for one another is a big part of getting through day to day life. We hope to see all your beautiful faces there supporting one another 💙🦁💜

It is with the deepest regrets that I inform you of the passing of a past ALR member. Marissa was a wonderful friend and had such a powerful presence. Though she was shy and reserved, the more you knew her, the more you felt the room get brighter.

Marissa was one of the friends that helped create ALR and contributed to the foundations of this organization. Though she decided to step down from being an active member she will always have a place in our hearts. Thank you for believing in a dream, thank you for the passion you showed for educating your community, and thank you for never letting go of who you were.

Marissa, you will be missed and you will always will be loved.

Today our team gave a presentation to the youth of Gulf Coast Trade Center! Our members Emma Egan and Julian Donaldson gave the presentation over STDs/STIs and ways to prevent them.
