The Community Kite Festival in John Hunt Park is a FREE, family friendly event that fosters inclusiveness and harmony while increasing awareness of social issues in the community. Poverty, abuse/violence, discrimination, etc. permeate society at every level. Let’s take the initiative to come together in solidarity to understand these concerns and the connections to be a network that stands for a

responsible and equal world. Join us for the 11th annual Community Kite Festival for "SOARING FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE" on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 11AM-3PM, at John Hunt Park Jaycee Building & Fields, Huntsville, AL
We are looking children's activities & vendors to showcase their crafts. Booth displays are FREE for non-profit organizations. Want to be a VENDOR or Have a booth display? Pm us to complete a vendor application or a booth display form. See less

As we go into the cold, dark days of Winter, let's remember beautiful Spring days are are just around the corner!

Saturday March 4 marks the return of the Community Kite Festival, sponsored by AshaKiran (Ray of Hope) and the City of Huntsville. This free, family friends event brings people from across our community together over the joyful act of flying a kite.
