💛 Meet Jase, a courageous 9-year-old whose spirit inspires everyone around him.

Like most kids diagnosed with DIPG, Jase was told to go home and make memories. But Jase had other plans—he is ready to fight! He continues to live fully, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and Timberwolves, playing baseball, and spending time outdoors. His energy, determination, and joy remind us all that cancer may be part of his story, but it does not define him.

Jase is enrolled in a clinical trial—the critical hope that gives kids with DIPG a fighting chance. Research is so important because these kids would have no hope for a cure without it. Kids like Jase deserve better treatments, brighter futures, and the chance to keep dreaming big.

Today, we want to share some insight into what a childhood cancer battle is like, from the perspective of a parent.

Haileigh’s son, Jeremiah, was only six years old when he received the devastating diagnosis of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on September 5, 2024. Following this life-altering news, Jeremiah underwent radiation treatment and participated in a clinical trial at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, where he demonstrated remarkable strength and resilience. Tragically, on December 9, 2024, a post-radiation MRI revealed leptomeningeal metastasis, indicating that his cancer had spread to three tumors in his brain and likely to his spine. Jeremiah was healed in Heaven on January 1, 2025.

When we asked Haileigh what she wanted the public to know about childhood cancer, she said, “Childhood cancer didn’t just take Jeremiah’s life. It forced us to watch it happen, piece by piece. I remember spending nights listening to his quiet breathing, wishing I could take his pain from him. Childhood cancer shows you how powerless love can feel. I have this innocent child that I would do anything for, but I couldn’t take the pain away from him.”

Meet our battle buddy, Jaisyn.

Jaisyn was an amazing brother and bright young man who loved video games, KFC, BDubs, Kevin Hart, and Family Guy. He played football, baseball, and the trombone, too.

Our Hailey called him her friend.

He was an honor roll student but couldn't finish 8th grade because of DIPG. He is forever 14.

💜 Today, we are taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge in memory of our friend Ian.

Ian was a sweet, brave boy who loved his family, playing soccer, spending time with his dogs, and being goofy. He had big dreams for his future and wanted to become an engineer or an architect. ⚽🐾

At just twelve years old, Ian was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He bravely endured radiation treatment, hoping for the chance to grow up and pursue those dreams.

Ian passed away just six weeks and three days after his diagnosis. His life was so much more than those final weeks, and his dreams mattered. He deserved more soccer games, more laughter with his family, and the opportunity to build the future he imagined. He deserved a cure.

We are taking the challenge in Ian’s memory and hope you will, too. 💛 His story reminds us why research into childhood brain cancers matters—and why these children need more effective treatments.

💜 Today, we are taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge in memory of Hunter.

On January 22, 2025, Hunter’s mom met him at his school playground, planning to let him play before heading home. But she and his teacher noticed that his eyes were crossing and he was stumbling. A call to his pediatrician led them to the hospital.

After three days of testing, Hunter’s family received devastating news: he had brain cancer. In a small room surrounded by medical staff, his mom was told there was nothing they could do and to go home and make memories.

She refused to give up hope. The day after his discharge, she took Hunter to Boston Children’s Hospital, searching for a way to save her son.

Hunter bravely fought for eleven months. Through it all, his family loved him fiercely and fought for more time together.

Hunter deserved to go home from that playground and keep being a kid. He deserved more school days, more afternoons playing, and a future filled with possibilities. He deserved a cure.

We are taking the challenge in Hunter’s memory and hope you will, too. 💛 His story is a heartbreaking reminder of why childhood brain cancer research cannot wait.

💜 Today, we are taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge in memory of our sweet friend Haley.

Haley was kind, bold, and creative, with a heart of gold. She enjoyed listening to music, playing video games with friends, and coloring pictures of cherry blossom tree landscapes. 🌸🎮She always put others before herself.

Haley had a gift for finding joy—even in the hard things. Following her diagnosis, she faced many fears with bravery, strength, and quiet grace. She made the most of every moment and never let cancer define who she was.

Haley bravely fought DIPG for seven months. On April 2, 2019, just six weeks before her fourteenth birthday, she passed away. She is forever thirteen.

She deserved more adventures, more time with her family, and the chance to grow up. She deserved a cure.

We are taking the challenge in Haley’s memory and hope you will, too. 💛

💜 Today, we are taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge in memory of our sweet friend Hadley from Massachusetts, affectionately known as “Haddie B.”

Hadley filled rooms with light, laughter, and love. Her smile made strangers feel like friends, and her kindness made others feel seen. A proud first grader at Lunenburg Primary School, she was adored by her classmates, teachers, and community.

She loved playing dek hockey and basketball, coloring and making arts and crafts, cheering for the Boston Bruins and Red Sox, and laughing with her friends. Swimming, listening to Morgan Wallen, and spending time with her beloved pups—Mack, Harley, and Cooper—were among her favorite things. 🏒🐾

But most of all, Hadley loved her family. Being a little sister brought her tremendous joy. Her sisters were her role models, best friends, and constant companions.

Hadley bravely fought DIPG and passed away on May 27, 2026. She is forever seven. Her courage and kindness brought an entire community together, and the love she shared continues to touch those who knew her.

Sweet Hadley touched our hearts. She deserved more days at school, more beach trips, more laughter with her sisters, and the chance to grow up. She deserved a cure.

We are taking the challenge in Hadley’s memory and hope you will, too. 💛

🧡 Today, we are taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge for our friend Hudson from Enterprise, Alabama—and we hope you will, too!

Hudson is four years old and loves construction vehicles, tractors, remote-control trucks and cars, and Hot Wheels. His favorite color is orange, and he enjoys baseball, dinosaurs, Mario, Blippi, Paw Patrol. Goldfish crackers and cookies are among his favorite treats! 🚜🦖

On May 28, 2026, Hudson was diagnosed with a high-grade glioma in his cerebellum. He has completed 33 rounds of radiation and is currently participating in a clinical trial at St. Jude.

This week, Hudson passed his monthly clinic visit with flying colors! His tumor was stable on last month’s scan. He is experiencing some mild balance issues and is working on building his confidence.

His family asks that we keep Hudson in our prayers: 💛
• For confidence in himself and all the things he can do.
• For physical therapy to help improve his balance and rebuild that confidence.
• For no side effects from his first pentamidine infusion.
• For peace for his little mind, free from fear and worry.
• For tumor shrinkage and continued stability on his October 26 scans, and for comfort for his family as they face the anxiety of waiting.

Hudson deserves a childhood filled with play, adventures, and the chance to grow up. We’re taking the challenge for him and for more effective treatments for children facing brain cancer.

💛 Meet our brave friend, Gavin.

Gavin was just 4 years old when he was diagnosed with DIPG on January 7, 2023. A true superhero, he faced every challenge with courage and a smile. He was the best big brother and a huge fan of Spider-Man and the entire Spider-Verse — especially Venom. 🕷️

Gavin underwent radiation at UAB in Birmingham and later participated in the Sonalasense clinical trial at Children’s National in Washington, D.C., helping advance research that could one day change the future for other children.

After a 12-month battle, Gavin was healed in Heaven on January 18, 2024. He deserved so much more — he deserved a cure.

This October, we’re taking the Boo! Brain Cancer Challenge in honor of Gavin — and we hope you’ll join us. 🧡
