The troop would like to give a super special huge thank you to Mark and the manager at Best Western Executive Suites in Marshall, Tx for letting a water logged BSA Troop 1934 stop in to eat a quick lunch in their breakfast area during a heavy rain storm. It was nice to have a dry place for lunch on the way home and Mark was such a delightful host.

Troop 1934 and 114 had a joint campout at Camp Strake this weekend. We missed getting on Troop 98’s calendar (next year!!).

We were able to do archery, swim, boat and enjoyed a camp cooking pot luck. We played volleyball and card games. Along with a combined campfire and scouts own. We had a blast just hanging out for the weekend.

It was so much that we decided it will be a November tradition for all 3 Huntsville troops will do every year.

Scouts and adults learned the life saving skills of applying tourniquet , administering the Heimlich maneuver and how to use an EpiPen in there First Aid merit badge. The scouts doing the Communication merit badge learned the skill of talking in front of a group of peers on a topic of choice.
