Today I celebrate Mother’s Day with a grateful heart… but also with a heart that knows pain. 🌸
In 2003, I lost my son.
A pain no mother ever truly gets over.
There were moments I felt broken, confused, and emotionally tired. I smiled through tears, showed up while hurting, and kept pressing even when life felt heavy.
But one thing about God… He will meet you in your pain.
Somehow through the grief, He gave me strength.
Through the tears, He gave me purpose.
Through the heartbreak, He reminded me I still had life to live and people to help.
People see the smiles, the hats, the fashion, the pictures, the businesses, the ministry, and the joy… but they don’t always see the journey behind it all.
Every picture in this collage represents a woman who refused to give up.
A woman who learned how to dance through pain and still walk in purpose.
So today, I honor not only mothers…
but grieving mothers, strong mothers, healing mothers, praying mothers, and mothers still trying to find themselves again after loss.
If today is hard for you, know this:
Your pain is real, but so is your purpose.
Your grief matters, but grief doesn’t win.
Happy Mother’s Day from a mother who kept pressing her way through. 💕✨
