The LGPOA wishes to congratulate two of Austin Police’s family on being honored at last nights LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce Gala. Congrats to Christian Mendoza, our LGBTQIA+ Liasison, on winning the “2022 Rising Star Award” and Amy Clunie, Sergeant Ashley Edwards wife, for winning the “2022 Pride in Leadership Award”. Both are phenomenal leaders who work tirelessly to improve Austin’s q***r community. Congrats Christian and Amy, your hard work and dedication to public service is immensely appreciated.
