🐓❤️ Phoenix Update from FlipFlops Animal Sanctuary ❤️🐓

Because of your kindness, Phoenix is healing, thriving, and finally getting the chance to live the life he deserves. When he first came to us, he needed urgent veterinary care, and thanks to the incredible support from our community, we were able to get him the help he desperately needed.

Today, Phoenix is brighter, stronger, and full of personality again. Seeing him recover has meant everything to us. 🥹

But we still have one major hurdle left — his veterinary bill has not yet been fully paid off, and as a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary, these medical expenses put a tremendous strain on our ability to continue helping other animals in need.

We are deeply grateful to every single person who has already donated, shared his story, prayed for him, or supported our mission in any way. You truly helped save Phoenix’s life. ❤️

Phoenix update… he is one of the bravest residents here at our sanctuary. He came to us after being rescued from a cockfighting ring, and while his past was incredibly difficult, his spirit is nothing short of inspiring.

Right now, Phoenix is still recovering from a serious leg infection. Thanks to quick veterinary care and lots of love, he’s on the road to healing, but he still has a long way to go.

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far. Your support has already made a real difference in Phoenix’s life — helping us get him the urgent care he needed when he needed it most.

🆘 URGENT VET CARE NEEDED 🐓💛

One of our long-time residents at FlipFlops Animal Sanctuary is very sick and needs immediate veterinary care.

Friendly the roo originally came to us as part of a group of severely sick baby chicks rescued from a well-known feed store. He’s been with us for a long time, and right now he urgently needs treatment to give him a fighting chance.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary, we rely entirely on donations—and we are currently short of what’s needed to cover his emergency vet bill.

Phoenix came to us after being rescued from a cockfighting ring, facing a painful and severe leg infection that required urgent and ongoing veterinary care. Thanks to multiple treatments and a lot of resilience, he’s now on the road to recovery and getting stronger every day.

But his journey isn’t over yet.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters to provide life-saving care. Phoenix’s vet bill has now exceeded $1,000, and we haven’t been able to cover it yet.
