Dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Roatan by giving generously to create positive programs and opportunities, support to existing government, non-profit, medical and environmental organizations. Friends of ROA was conceptualized in 2021 as Roatan began to come alive again. The community continues to confront many challenges as children return to school, public entities and non-profi

t organizations have not had the funding previously provided due to the effects of the pandemic. Since its inception, Friends of ROA has realized several major projects which have had a positive impact in local communities and on the entire Roatan community as a whole. Included in those projects have been education programs for young working adults, major in-kind donations to the Fire Department of Roatan, in-kind medical supplies drives and distribution, and school supply distribution to the most in-need communities on the island.
