Happy New Year! As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you. Your support—through votes on Holiday Road, one-time gifts, or monthly pledges—turned small acts of kindness into real warmth for families right here in Huntington.
Huntington Holiday Road brought the community together again with dazzling displays and family drives, raising around $1,000. Every dollar going straight to helping local kids and families when they needed it most.
Here are a few ways we put that to work this year before the holiday road even started:
Sponsored a joyful Christmas party at South Point Elementary School—full of games, treats, and smiles for kids who deserved every bit of magic.
Contributed to a 529 college savings plan for infant Ruby Neely, whose mom Abby tragically passed away at just 38 this September—giving Ruby a brighter start.
Supported the family of Tyson Watts, a Huntington High senior who suddenly passed from a heart attack at 17 in November, helping ease unexpected medical bills during an unimaginable time.
These moments are why we do this: your generosity created real comfort, hope, and community when it mattered most. It's the kind of feel-good that sticks with you.
Looking to 2026: We're gearing up for an even brighter Holiday Road and more year-round giving. To make it happen, we're seeking:
