Dentists For A Better Huntington is a charity that raises money to assist people in need in the Huntington, NY/Long Island area. The group began in 1997 and consists of dentists who practice in the Huntington area and the group funds local organizations that provide food, clothes, compassionate services and assistance to local families, children, senior citizens, and veterans. The needs range from

providing cooked meals, to funding kitchen repairs at a local veterans residences, to donating to the visiting nurses service hospice, and many more. What a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community of dentists comes together for something bigger than themselves.

Last night, Dentists for a Better Huntington gathered at the beautiful Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to present $50,000 to local charities serving our neighbors in need.

There is so much quiet need in our own backyard, families struggling with basic necessities like food and shelter, and children who simply deserve the chance to attend summer camp while their parents work full time.

We believe that caring for a community goes far beyond the dental chair. 💙
