Over the past three years, the Huntington Fire Association has proudly raised more than $60,000 to support the Huntington Fire Department and help reduce the financial burden on taxpayers.
These funds have been used to offset the costs of essential equipment, firefighter gear, vehicle parts, building repair materials, and other operational needs that would otherwise have to come from the department’s budget. By providing this support, the Association helps lessen the impact of budget increases on the Town of Huntington while ensuring our firefighters have the tools and resources they need to serve the community safely and effectively.
None of this happens by accident. The members of the Huntington Fire Association dedicate countless hours each year organizing fundraisers, volunteering their time, and working hard to support the department’s mission. Their efforts help ensure that necessary purchases can be made without always having to ask taxpayers for additional funding.
