A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community!
What a wonderful and memorable evening yesterday! A sincere thank you to every community member who volunteered their time and energy to make our Back-to-School Carnival such a successful and enjoyable event for our children and families. Events like this are only possible because of the generosity, teamwork, and dedication of our community.
A very special thank you to Dr. Deborah Harrison for joining us as our guest speaker and sharing her experience, knowledge, and valuable insight about charter schools and education. We truly appreciate the time she took to speak with our community and answer our questions.
We also want to recognize and thank the WISH Academy Governing Board members for their continued work, vision, and commitment as we move WISH Academy forward, as well as all of our wonderful Weekend Islamic School of Huntington (W.I.S.H.) volunteer teachers who give so much of their time to educate and support our children.
Most importantly, thank you to Pizza Vibes for providing free pizza and to the families and community members for showing up, participating, asking questions, and supporting these efforts. This is what community looks like—working together for our children and building something meaningful for generations to come.
May Allah reward everyone who contributed, volunteered, supported, and attended. Jazakum Allahu Khayran!
