We want to extend our most sincere gratitude to everyone who made our Leadership Huntington Graduation Day a success for the Class of 2026.

As always, the facilities, food, and team at Guyan Golf and Country Club were all top notch. The ReCreate Appalachia team from West Edge Factory was so informative and fun during our morning painting activity! Our ceremony speakers, Lisa Chamberlin Stump of Marshall Health Network and Glen Midkiff of Marshall University Lewis College of Business were fantastic and inspiring, and the energetic crowd of family, friends, and Leadership Huntington alumni made the day feel truly special.

This program, now entering its fourth year, would not be possible without the generous support of Marshall Health Network. As one of our region's largest employers and one of the nation's top health care networks, Marshall Health Network continues to invest in the health and future of our community and the people who call it home. We thank them for supporting this program from the very beginning! 💚

What a wonderful evening in the Central City Antiques District for our Small Business Roundtable Meeting | Old Central City! We were treated to a fantastic walking tour of the historic 14th St. West, an informative presentation on the work RenewAll Inc is doing in the neighborhood by Lauren Kemp, and an inspiring panel of small business owners, including Joanna Sexton of Hattie and Nan's Antiques & Books, Dawn Hylbert of Cicada Books & Coffee, and Denise Poole of Village Antiques & Art! 🥰

It was so cool learning about the long and storied history of the neighborhood AND about all the fun and exciting projects they have planned for the near future. Be sure to check out Old Central City Days next weekend for a great time filled with music, food, vendors and more! A special thanks to Huntington National Bank for sponsoring our roundtable sessions and to Rebecca Thomas of True Soul Boutique for organizing and leading this wonderful session. 🌟

We are so thrilled to celebrate the new Period Pantry at the Cabell County Public Library with a ribbon cutting this morning! Made possible through a partnership between the The Junior League of Huntington, United Way of the River Cities’ Project Period, and the Cabell County Public Library, the pantry provides free menstrual and hygiene products to women and girls with dignity and accessibility.

The pantry is the first publicly accessible outdoor period pantry in Huntington, expanding access beyond existing indoor locations and allowing community members to obtain essential products at any time.

The pantry is located outside the Cabell County Public Library at 455 9th Street in downtown Huntington and is available to anyone in need. 🥰
