Hello friends!

We want to take a moment to let you all know about an event happening in downtown Huntington tomorrow and give some information about who puts on events in downtown!

We are so lucky to have a community with many individuals and groups organizing really great opportunities to gather. Specifically in downtown, we’ve got the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce who puts on Music in the City, Christmas in the City, and Heritage Days. Huntington Main Street coordinates Huntington Tenderloin Fest and Market on Main Street. And Shop Huntington now has began coordinating Downtown Deals Days. These don’t even include all the smaller events put on by individual stores or stores who partner together on events.

We are so lucky to have so many who give of their time and efforts!

Though it’s not always important to know who coordinates what, we do want to make sure the people who put on the events are given credit for their hard work. We’ve also found that there can be confusion when people reach out to our organizations with questions, comments, or concerns regarding each event. Hopefully this will be helpful in that regard!

So if you’re free tomorrow and want to head downtown for Downtown Deals Day, there are a lot of businesses who have deals and activities for you to enjoy! We hope you’ll take the time to support them now and every day!

WE DID IT!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Together, we raised $13,500, which will be matched to bring new smart watering planters, smart watering hanging baskets, and a new watering vehicle to downtown.

Unbelievable!! 😍 And at the same time, absolutely believable. Absolutely believable that this amazing community would rally to raise these funds because they believe in the success of downtown Huntington.

Those of you that spend any significant time in downtown know that people are working hard every single day to make something beautiful happen down here. You see the hard working business owners, the volunteers watering the flowers, and the folks shopping and enjoying this space. Now we get to see downtown come even more alive!

Thank you to everyone who supported this project by giving and sharing ❤️ we love you Huntington!!

Hey, don't forget that the Downtown Diner Crawl is still going on today and tomorrow! Make sure your cards are turned in by the end of the day Friday May 22nd!

It's easy to join. All you have to do is stop in at one of the three participating diners, pick up a punch card, eat at all three diners, and turn in your card at any of the three locations!
