On Saturday night, we celebrated our 12-year-olds as they took the field for their final Little League game. For years, these boys poured their hearts into this game — countless practices, late nights at the ballfield, dirty uniforms, grass stains, wins, losses, laughter, and memories that will stay with us forever.
We’ve watched them grow up right before our eyes. From nervous first at-bats to confident leaders on the field, they’ve taught us what hard work, perseverance, teamwork, and love for the game truly look like.
To these players — thank you. Thank you for the excitement, the walk-offs, the dugout laughs, the big plays, and the moments that turned ordinary summer nights into lifelong memories. Thank you for giving this community something to cheer for year after year.
And to the parents — thank you feels far too small. Thank you for the endless trips to practices and games, for washing uniforms at midnight, for volunteering to coach, umpire, work concessions, drag fields, keep score, organize teams, and do all the behind-the-scenes work that made this league possible. Little League has always been about more than baseball, and families like yours are the reason why.
While tonight may mark the end of their Little League chapter, we hope it’s not goodbye forever. This field will always be a part of them, just as they’ll always be a part of this field. No matter how old they get or where life takes them, they will always be welcome here.
Once a part of this league, always family. ❤️⚾💙
