Indiana Family Care Center Headquarters Our vision is Changed Families, Change Community.

Our mission is carried out by Being the Change, Breaking the Cycles, Engaging and Equipping the Families, and Restoring Hope for the Next Generation. As a nonprofit ministry that operates by donations, we are blessed to be able to help families in Northern Indiana. Whether families have recently experienced a life challenge such as a house fire, abuse, relocation, an unexpected addition to the family or simply getting back on their feet, we are here to help at the Op (Opportunity) Shop. Our Family Care Center, located just two door north of our Op Shop, offers parenting classes, mentorship, Learn to Earn Program and wrap around services with local agencies in Huntington County and Northern Indiana.

We’ll be available from 9:00–10:00 AM and again from 1:00–3:30 PM at 44 Vine Street in Huntington.

Who Does Indiana Family Care Center Serve?

At Indiana Family Care Center, we believe everyone deserves support, dignity, and hope. We serve individuals and families in our community who may need a helping hand, encouragement, or connection to valuable resources.

Who do we serve?

• Individuals in need of support or basic necessities
• Individuals with families who need assistance
• Families of all sizes and backgrounds
• Single parents working hard to provide for their children
• Parents and caregivers looking for support and resources
• Families with infants and children who need clothing, diapers, wipes, formula, and other essentials
• Children and students through our community outreach programs
• Anyone looking for connection, encouragement, or help finding resources

Through Hope 61, Hope’s Closet, our Storehouse Mobile Unit, mentoring, and other outreach programs, we strive to meet people where they are and provide support with compassion and care.

Every person has a story, every family matters, and everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.

At Indiana Family Care Center, we are here to serve our community, share hope, and remind you that you are not alone!

Hope’s Closet needs your help!

We are currently completely out of baby wipes and size 5 diapers, and our supply of size 4 and size 6 diapers is running low.

These everyday essentials make a big difference for the families we serve, and we need your help to keep our shelves stocked and continue meeting those needs.

If you are able to donate baby wipes or diapers in sizes 4, 5, or 6, we would be so grateful! Every package helps us care for families in our community.
