The Huntington Rotary Club Strawberry Feed will take place Thursday, June 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Huntington County Fair Grounds, 631 E. Taylor Street, Heritage Hall. Strawberries, shortcake, ice cream with whipped cream will be served and tickets are available at First Federal Savings Bank, Bippus State Bank, First Source Bank or at the door. The “all you can eat” price is $6 in advance, $7 at the door with kids five and under eating for free. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.

A Heritage Days Ice Cream Social will take place, sponsored by Parkview Huntington Hospital and Huntington Sheet Metal, on Saturday, June 13 at 5 p.m. Huntington North High School, Kids Zone, will be the location to receive a free scoop of ice cream while enjoying the evening activities. Supplies are limited, serving from 5 p.m. until the ice cream is gone. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.

The 62nd Annual Heritage Days 2026 parade will be held Saturday, June 13 at 10 a.m. The Heritage Days celebration is June 10 to 14. The theme is: “America’s 250th Celebration.” The parade proceeds from Huntington North High School, follows MacGahan Street to Jefferson Street, proceeds through the middle of downtown Huntington, completes at State Street turning right. Judges/commentator located at Lake City Bank. The official colors of Heritage Days 2026 are red, white and blue. Heartland REMC is the sponsor of Heritage Days. Thursday, June 11 brings the Heritage Days 57th Annual Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe Breakfast at 8 a.m. It will be located at the Historic Forks of the Wabash, 3011 W. Park Drive, and is sponsored by the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce. This yearly activity names the new Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe. Reservations for the $25 per person event are required by June 3 with the Chamber of Commerce, (260) 356-5300. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.

The annual Biscuit, Sausage and Gravy Breakfast will once again be part of Heritage Days 2026. Sponsored by the Women of the Moose Lodge, the public is invited to the breakfast at 390 Frontage Road on Saturday, June 13 from 7 to 10 a.m. The cost includes sausage gravy with biscuits and potatoes and coffee. Milk and juice are extra. The Moose will also hold the 7th Annual Moose Co****le Tournament for Cancer during Heritage Days on Saturday, June 13 at 3:30 p.m., $20 per team. Sponsored by the Moose Lodge 837 and TAG Apparel, the location for the contest is 390 Frontage Road. Prizes awarded for top 3 finishing teams, 100 percent proceeds donated to Cancer Services of Huntington County. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.

Official buttons are now available for purchase at the Chamber office, 305 Warren Street, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. “America’s 250th Celebration” is the theme for Heritage Days 2026. Buttons are $2 each. Heritage Days 2026 honors “America’s 250th Celebration,” June 10 to 14. The Little Miss Heritage Days and Junior Miss Heritage Days Pageant will take place at Huntington University Merillat Centre for the Arts on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Girls, ages five to 12, will compete for the titles. Tickets are available for $5 (children 3 and under free) from contestants or at the door the evening of the pageant. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.

Beacon Credit Union will once again sponsor Pulling for Riley - Kiddie Tractor Pull at 5 p.m. in the Heritage Days Kids Zone at the Huntington North High School. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. with four weight classes: boys and girls up to 44 lbs., 45-59 lbs., 60-74 lbs. and 75-100 lbs. Registration is only the day of the event, there is no fee to enter, children must have an adult present to participate and awards will be given for the top three in each class. Donations will be accepted for Riley Children’s Hospital. Heartland REMC is the official sponsor of Heritage Days 2026.
