Another great year at our Smokin'-for-a-Cause BBQ held for Crossroad Connections and the Cause Printing Network during the Marion Airports Fly/In Cruise/In.

Thank you to all the volunteers that came out the last two days to make this happen and to the Smokin-for-a-Cause team! You guys are amazing!

Join us today at the Fly/In Cruise/In in Marion, for the Smokin-for-a-Cause BBQ. Full pulled pork meal with baked beans, potatoes chips and a drink. Funds raised go to support this year's Crossroad Connections community outreach project and Gilead Ministries.

Serving from 11-2 at the Marion Municipal Airport.

Thank you to the volunteers and supporters who made this possible. Through challenges at every turn we did not give up! Steve can finally have the freedom to leave his home unassisted anytime he'd like and an extra bonus...can set on the landing and enjoy the warmth of the sun on his face. A special thanks to The Cause Printing Company and Smokin'-for-a-Cause whole raised the money to fund the materials. A Crossroad Connections community assistance project.

It's finally about to happen! With roadblock after roadblock we are finally on our way to getting Steve's wheel chair ramp built. The gas meter has been moved, permits in place and volunteers signing up. If anyone would like to take part in helping in the construction, we still have room for a couple elves. Trust me, Steve will be appreciative! This project has taken us over two years to get implemented.
