The Hope Bus will be at Barboursville Park Spray Ground, and our community was quick to jump in on the fun!

💦☀️ Families who participated helped spread the word and connected with the mission behind Hope on Wheels—bringing hope, support, and opportunity directly to our neighborhoods.

Something exciting is rolling into our community… and we want YOU to be part of it!
The Salvation Army is launching Hope on Wheels: Spot the Hope Bus — a fun, interactive way for families to connect, play, and experience encouragement right in your neighborhood.
👀 Here’s how it works:
We’ll post clues on social media to help you track down The Hope Bus as it travels to parks, neighborhoods, and community spaces around the Tri-State! This is a great example of Love in Action.

🎉 When you find us, you can expect:

Monthly visits in YOUR community.
Games and activities for kids!
Prizes and giveaways
Snacks and fun surprises
Encouragement and Healthy options

Each location you come you earn "Hope Bucks" to get items in our "Hope store".

Summer heat doesn’t affect everyone the same way, and extreme heat puts our most vulnerable neighbors at risk.

A broken AC, a home without shade, a night without relief can turn a heatwave into a crisis.

That’s why this season matters, and The Salvation Army is stepping in to offer cool spaces, utility bill assistance and support for neighbors who need help staying safe this summer. ☀️

Celebrating National Donut 🍩 Day, we're serving up a free lunch to fuel the heroes among us - our brave first responders. Special thanks to Bob Evans Texas Roadhouse Camden Corner Westmoreland Dunkin' Jolly Pirate Donuts Dp.Dough for supplying our yummy food!

Thanks to our Men’s Club about coordinating the food and the planning of the event. If you’d like to join the club they meet each week on Tuesdays 5:30-7pm at our location.
