Since 1975 CWAB® has been serving the needs of the blind and visually impaired of Cabell and Wayne Counties of West Virginia. CWAB® offers lifeskill services such as Rehabilitation, Orientation & Mobility, Computer Training, Adaptive Technology, and Transportation.

MMO is THIS SATURDAY, August 29th! 💚

This weekend, Marshall students and community leaders will be providing basic healthcare services to the people of Huntington. Join us Saturday morning and our team will do whatever we can to help you with your health; no payment, ID, or insurance is required. We will be providing our usual services:

• Primary medical care & screenings
• Prescription Eye Glasses & Eye Care
• Blood pressure & glucose checks
• OTC Medications
• Mental health services
• Physical therapy services
• Oral Health services
• Health Department Screenings
• ECCC Preventative Screenings Sign Up
• Health education & referrals
• Clothing and hygiene items

We’ve also received a very kind donation of children’s clothing that we will be distributing this weekend. If you or someone you know could benefit, come down and give us a visit!

On July 31, our Director, Toni Moore Walls and our former OM provider, Mary Beth Kelty, presented at AERBVI International Conference in Louisville, KY.

Mental health care is vital to overcoming the hurdles of any life change, including changes in vision. CWAB Services Division is excited to begin offering Clinical Service Support in the form of referrals, financial assistance and training for professionals that will work with our consumers.

On Wednesday, August 12, our friends Julie Akers and her son Kendal from Ability to Access brought some really cool devices for our consumers to explore! It was a great session and we look forward to getting a few new devices in for our library of technology!

👓 FREE VISION EYE CLINIC COMING TO HUNTINGTON! 👓

Ebenezer Medical Outreach is excited to partner with the Appalachian Vision Outreach Program (AVOP) of the WVU School of Medicine to provide a FREE Vision Eye Clinic on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

✅ Comprehensive eye exams provided at no cost
✅ Open to community members in need of vision care
✅ Appointments are required

If glasses are prescribed, participants may purchase them on the day of the clinic. Payment for glasses is CASH ONLY and is due at the time of service. Eyeglass frame packages range from $25-$55, with additional options available for progressive lenses, transitions, anti-reflective coatings, and other upgrades.
