In honor of Dolly Parton, the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center & June Harless Center, DPIL of West Virginia, are hosting a special screening of 9 to 5 on September 25! All proceeds go to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, helping put books into the hands of children.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Virginia provides children from birth to age five with a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book delivered to their home each month, regardless of family income. Administered statewide by the June Harless Center at Marshall University in partnership with local communities across all 55 counties, the program promotes early literacy, strengthens family engagement, and helps prepare children for future learning. At its heart, Imagination Library ensures every child can discover the joy and power of reading.

We’re thrilled to announce the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗰𝗸’𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗱 on Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 PM at the historic Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center.

The story of former Marshall University basketball coach Rick Huckabay and his legendary 1980s teams, “Huck's Herd,” is coming to the big screen.

Before the film, Ricky Huckabay, Coach Huckabay’s oldest son, will perform an acoustic set.

🎤 Opening Remarks
Andy Huckabay, Coach Huckabay’s youngest son and Executive Producer of Huck’s Herd, and Director Tim Hardiman will give brief opening remarks to introduce the film and welcome everyone to the premiere.

We can’t wait to share Huck’s Herd with you and celebrate the legacy of Coach Huckabay and the teams that made Marshall basketball history.

A special way to celebrate Dolly Parton and the incredible legacy she leaves behind. ❤️ We’re honored to welcome Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol to the Keith-Albee this holiday season.

Right Angle Entertainment joins millions around the world in mourning the passing of the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Dolly was so much more than an extraordinary artist. She was a songwriter, storyteller, philanthropist and singular creative force whose warmth, humor and humanity reached across generations. From the mountains of East Tennessee to stages around the world, she had an extraordinary ability to make people feel welcome, hopeful and connected.

Her generosity extended far beyond the stage. Through her lifelong commitment to literacy, education and the communities she loved, Dolly demonstrated the same compassion and belief in people that defined so much of her work. She didn't simply entertain the world; she made it a little kinder.

It has been a deep privilege for all of us at Right Angle Entertainment to help bring Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol to audiences across the country. The show carries so much of what made Dolly special, her love of the Smoky Mountains, her faith in the possibility of redemption, her sense of humor, her generosity of spirit and, of course, her music. It also reflects her remarkable instinct for theatrical storytelling, using music, laughter and heart to bring people together.

As we prepare to bring the production back to stages across the country this holiday season, the tour will carry a meaning none of us could have anticipated. We will proudly dedicate this holiday season’s performances to Dolly’s memory, celebrating not only the extraordinary body of work she leaves behind, but the joy, compassion and generosity she brought to the world.

The world has lost a true legend.

Dolly Parton’s music has been a part of so many lives for generations. Her songs, stories, humor, and incredible heart made her one of a kind.

We’re grateful for the joy she brought to so many and for the music and memories she leaves behind. Her legacy will live on every time one of her songs is played, one of her stories is shared, or a theater fills with the sound of her music.

Thank you for everything, Dolly. ❤️
