It is with a heavy and saddened heart that we share the news of the passing away of former Board of Director & Chairman of the Board, Kenneth A. Christensen.

Ken was an integral part of the history of Huntington. From his involvement with Leadership Huntington, and his Leadership here at the Chamber, Ken’s presence will be deeply missed.

The “Huntington Holiday Spectacular” Kicks Off November 28th
Huntington, Long Island, N.Y
Beginning November 28th, The Huntington Business Improvement District, Huntington Business Recovery Task Force, Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce and Looks Great Services will bring a brand new “Holiday Spectacular” to Wall Street in Huntington. The nightly festivities will include lights, music and surprises. Over five weeks, culminating on January 3rd, 2021, guests can visit Wall Street starting at 5pm daily to view this newly created Winter Wonderland. Ending at 10pm on Friday & Saturday nights and 8pm weekdays, local businesses will participate with special deals to promote the holiday season supporting the shared goal of bringing residents from across Long Island to Huntington. In 2020, we faced an unprecedented pandemic and an era of division in our nation. Despite this, our community members have come together to find something to unite for, the Holidays! The holiday season is filled with a special type of magic that is felt by people of all ages, religions, and beliefs. This tree was placed in the center of our town as a symbol of hope and harmony during these trying times. Let it serve as a reminder of the strength of the human spirit and the power of a community united. Donations will be solicited through GoFundMe and Facebook Charities to recoup the cost of the event. All attendees must maintain social distancing guidelines and masks are required.
