Even though Christmas is an invention of man, and not Ordained by God, I wouldn't have a problem with celebrating it if it were done on a different day, say late September or early October around the time when Jesus was actually born.
But celebrating it on the same day as the European celebration of the returning of the Sun, seems a bit like blasphemy to me, seeing how God condemns pagan Sun Worship.
Ezekiel 8:15-16; then said he unto me, has thou seen this, o son of man? Turn ye yet again, and thou shall see greater abominations than these.
And he brought me into the inner Court of the Lord's House, and, behold, at the door of the Temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, we're about 5 and 20 men, with their backs towards the Temple of the Lord, and their faces towards the east; and they worship the Sun towards the east.

On December 25th, pagans celebrated festivals tied to the winter solstice, most notably the Roman festival of Dies Natalis Solis Invicti (Birthday of the Unconquered Sun), honoring the sun god, and earlier, Saturnalia, with feasting and gift-giving. Early Christians adopted this date for Christmas to align with these popular traditions, incorporating existing customs like evergreens and feasting to ease conversion in the Roman Empire.
Key Pagan Festivals on December 25th:
Sol Invictus (Unconquered Sun): Established by Emperor Aurelian in 274 CE, this feast celebrated the rebirth of the sun as days grew longer after the winter solstice.
Saturnalia: A Roman festival honoring the god Saturn, featuring feasting, revelry, and gift exchanges, which occurred in late December.
Mithra's Birthday: The Persian god Mithras, a popular deity in Rome, was also believed to have his birth celebrated on this day.
Connection to Christmas:
Early Christians chose December 25th for Christmas to coincide with these widespread solar festivals, making it easier for new converts to transition from paganism to Christianity.
Many Christmas traditions, such as decorating with greenery, feasting, and exchanging gifts, have roots in these older winter solstice celebrations, repurposed with Christian meaning.

God also condemns cutting a tree down and setting it up decorated in your house, in a scripture entitled,
"Learn not the way of the Heathen" Jeremiah 10:1-5.
Some associates say these things don't matter, because it's where your heart is.
But if your heart is with God, and you abide in His words as Jesus commanded, doesn't your deeds and actions matter?
