👍 We did it!

With the help of our incredible community we were able to raise over $5,500 and counting for the Michael S Gilmor Memorial Scholarship Fund!

It really is a testament to how special of a person Michael was when you saw how many faces came out to support this event.

In a figurative sense we're all disciples of Mike and Gilfest is a reminder to always Live Like Mike and Be More Like Gilmor!

To our partnering organizations Long Island Cares , Habitat for Humanity of Long Island for doing such incredible things for our community. Don't forget you can volunteer your time at these organizations all year long, and they appreciate it as much as we do!

Jonny D's Pizza in Huntington who donated those incredible pizza pies at the event so be sure to show them some love next time you order out.

The folks at LIC Harry Chapin Food Bank have been so gracious invoking our community with their food drives across LI stop n shops this Saturday.

The LI chapter of Habitat is a cause near and dear to the Gilmor's hearts and Michael was always giving back with them amongst the countless other ways he gave back.

We're happy to have a table at Gilfest this Saturday where you can sign up for to volunteer for future projects.

Five years ago, our community lost a friend, our world lost it's light, and the universe lost one of it's brightest stars, Michael Gilmor. Michael was surely one of the finest young men on this planet and he left us with one incredibly big hole to fill, but in Michael's honor we fill what's missing by Living Like Mike everyday. Gilfest is one way we're trying to give back in Michael's honor the way he gave to us while he was here.

Two years ago we put on the first Gilfest raising money for the Michael S Gilmor Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year we're putting together round two at Industry in Huntington this Saturday September 9th at 6pm.

After a day of volunteering across LI those who were blessed enough to know Michael will gather where we will have incredible raffle prizes, good food, cold drinks, and good music while we remember a great man.

Would love if any friends of ours would come down this Saturday to support a great cause and get an idea of who Michael was.

🎒 We've got another amazing volunteer opportunity!

• Let's get a few people to help out our friends Bread of Life World Outreach Center in Wyandanch,NY for their "Back To School Jump Off" on Sunday September 3rd. Helping children get ready for the new school year.

• They need some help setting up, breaking down and monitoring the events throughout the day.

• This is a great opportunity for those who won't be able to attend the day off as this is a week before Gilfest.
