It is with a heavy heart I have to announce that after 104 years, Boy Scouts of America,Troop 20 has folded. Changes in society, changes instituted by the national BSA organization, and changes in youth interests and attitudes, have made recruiting difficult.
Troop 20 has impacted the lives of hundreds of boys as they developed into young men throughout the decades. During its history (1920-2024), eighty-five Troop 20 members became Eagle Scouts.
Those associated with Troop 20 would like to thank the members and staff of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church for their support, help, and prayers over the years since its founding in 1920.
